SmallRig 2209 Cage for Atomos Ninja V

An aluminium cage for the Atomos Ninja V that protects the monitor body. It is mounted using a 1/4″-20 screw on top and two M3 screws on the left side.

Mounting and accessories

The top and bottom feature several 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 holes as well as ARRI mounts. NATO rails on both the top and bottom allow for the use of SmallRig mounts such as Ball Head Magic Arm 2071 or 2072 for quick attachment. Raised mounting points on the top and bottom are designed for neck straps and to fit the Atomos Ninja V Sunhood. The sun hood frame must be installed before the device is placed in the cage.

Cable management and storage

An HDMI cable clamp is included and is ideal for AtomFlex 4k 60p cables. The cage also supports an additional SmallRig HDMI cable clamp 1693 at the HDMI output on the left side to protect the cable and socket. For backward compatibility with Atomos Master Caddy II, a drive lock is included for standard 6.35 cm devices. Dimensions are 177 x 107 x 24.7 mm (W x H x D) and the weight is 196 g.
