Terms and conditions

Delivery

You will receive your parcel within 3 working days, delivered to your nearest pickup point. All parcels are sent with tracking, and by entering your mobile number when you order, you will get information directly from the carrier about where your parcel is and when you can collect it.

Sales outside Sweden

At present we only sell within Sweden. Shipping costs 79 kr. We apply Swedish VAT, i.e. 25% on all goods except books, which have a VAT rate of 6%.

Payment

You can pay by card, Klarna or Swish. On devices that support it, you can also pay with Apple Pay.

Warranty and complaints

You have at least a 1-year warranty on all products you buy from Expertfoto, whether you are a private individual or buying as a business. Some products have a longer warranty, provided by the manufacturer. As a private individual you are also covered by Konsumentköplagen (the Swedish Consumer Sales Act), which means that you have the right to make a complaint for up to 3 years if you can show a manufacturing defect.

To make a warranty claim or a complaint, you must first contact Expertfoto. We will get back to you with information about which authorised workshop you should turn to in order to have your item examined and repaired. If it has to be sent, you will receive a prepaid shipping label from us. It is very important that the item is packed well. After service or repair, the item is returned to your home.

Please note: You must be able to show a receipt, invoice or similar proof of purchase when making a warranty claim or a complaint. The authorised workshop decides whether a warranty repair applies or not. Should the workshop judge that the fault is due to external damage and is not covered by the warranty, you as the customer pay the repair cost. You will receive a quote for the repair that you can consider, and if you choose not to have the item repaired, you pay the examination cost and the return shipping yourself.

Right of withdrawal in the shop

When you buy an item on Expertfoto.se, under Distansavtalslagen (the Swedish Distance Contracts Act) you have a right of withdrawal that allows you to cancel the purchase within 14 days. The withdrawal period starts on the day you received your item. You have the right to open and check the item, its functions and properties – but not to start using it fully. For example, you may not take a lens or a pair of binoculars with you on an outing. If the main item, the included accessories or the original packaging have been damaged during opening and the function check, we will deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value when we refund your order.

To use your right of withdrawal, you must always contact Expertfoto first. Send an e-mail to info@expertfoto.se and tell us that you want to cancel your purchase and why. Remember to state the product name of the item and your order number.

When you use your right of withdrawal, you pay the return cost yourself. For the return, the item must be packed well, together with the original packaging and packing material and all accessories that came in the package, such as cables, instruction manual, batteries et cetera. Always use a parcel service with tracking (e.g. a registered letter with Posten, or DHL), as you are responsible if the item is lost. Once we have received the item, we will refund the amount within 14 days, but it is usually considerably faster than that.
