This allows for the use of a wide aperture or long shutter speeds to create motion blur and achieve better exposure when there is high contrast between highlights and shadows.<\/p>\n<h3>Optics and coating<\/h3>\n<p>The Japanese optical glass features a double-sided, multi-layer anti-reflective coating to minimise reflections. An IR layer blocks infrared light to maintain natural colours without colour cast. The surface is treated with a U-type Nano coating, making the filter resistant to water and oil and easy to clean.<\/p>\n<h3>Construction<\/h3>\n<p>The filter ring is made of matte black brass and is ultra-thin with a thickness of 3.5 mm.
