The NiSi Explorer Medium IR GND8 (0.9) \/ 3 stop is used to balance large brightness differences between sky and landscape by reducing exposure in the dark grey upper half by ND8 \/ 3 stop (0.9) while the lower half remains completely clear. The hardened B270 glass is twice as durable as standard glass filters, reducing the risk of breakage if dropped.<\/p>\n<h3>Graduation and use<\/h3>\n<p>The transition between the two halves is medium.
