This cage kit is designed for the Sony FX2, providing full access to all buttons, ports, and the tiltable EVF.<\/p>\n

Mounting and attachments<\/h3>\n

The camera is secured using a two-point locking mechanism. The cage is equipped with 1\/4″-20 threaded holes, 3\/8″-16 ARRI positioning holes, and a HawkLock NATO rail for quick attachment of side and top handles. A cold shoe mount allows for devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or LED lamps, while a QD socket in the base accommodates shoulder straps. A magnetic hex key is stored in the bottom for assembly and disassembly.<\/p>\n

Plate and handles<\/h3>\n

The base features an integrated Arca plate compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5. When used with a HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate (4486), the base plate locks automatically. The detachable top plate includes a NATO rail for the Sony XLR top handle or the SmallRig rotating top handle (4152). The XLR handle extension increases the grip area and includes its own 1\/4″-20 threaded holes for monitor mounts.<\/p>\n

The rig weighs 337 g. The plate is of the Arca type.<\/p>\n
