A cold shoe is available for attaching a microphone, image transmitter, or monitor. The cage can be slid up and locked to provide access to the BP-U battery and memory cards.<\/p>\n<h3>Plates and power supply<\/h3>\n<p>The base plate offers better protection against camera overheating than a simple quick release plate. The removable side plate can be mounted near the rear to leave space for the original handle, or near the front to help balance the camera during vertical shooting. For extended operating time, a V-mount battery plate and corresponding power cable are included.<\/p>\n<p>The rig weighs 440 g. A screwdriver and an Allen key are supplied for assembly and disassembly.
